Men In The Cities
Fringe First winning one-man show returns to London stage
Men In The Cities is a one-man show that has left a lasting affect on a lot of people. With widespread critical acclaim, it sold out the Royal Court in July 2014 and it received a Fringe First in its Edinburgh run. The narrative is framed by two violent deaths – the suicide of a young gay man and the murder of Lee Rigby. It is a piece that grapples with themes of harm and complicity and about the forces that shape our relationships. It provokes introspection while simultaneously turning its lens on society. Through its fractured snapshots of disconnected lives, we are presented with a portrait of how we live now. This is a humbling performance that should not be missed. Over 14s only. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
"Has moments of such staggering potency that it feels like the air is on fire."
