Settle down in the amphitheatre on the bank of the ThamesA double bill of classical theatre...all for free? Don't mind if we do! Viewing performances in London's unique outdoor, sunken amphitheatre will bring life to tragedy and comedy. Prince of Thebes (6pm-7pm), is aimed at a family audience, with the story of Oedipus being spruced up with adventure, music, and puppetry. Then, Oedipus and Antigone (8pm-10pm), invites older audiences to discover the tragic fate of Oedipus and his offspring.
General admission. Cushions are available for hire and there are plenty of surrounding cafes for refreshments. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets", but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny. You're welcome to bring your own food and drink, but please no glass.
