Delve into biodiversity loss & its consequences

Wild populations, their habitats, & the benefits they provide for the people are continuing to decline, but is the situation absolutely hopeless? Discuss our failed attempts at reducing biodiversity loss with Andrew Balmford FRS, Professor of Conservation Science at University of Cambridge. You’ll dive head first into the costs & benefits of effective conservation, identifying efficient conservation responses, & how we might be able to reconcile our efforts with focused research in developing countries. General admission. Please arrive early to be guaranteed a seat. This event is free. We need your card details to confirm the booking but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
