A No 3 Gin tasting at the No 1 jazz venue in LondonNo 3 Gin is the London Dry Gin distilled to a recipe from Berry Bros + Rudd, London’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, which has traded from the same shop for over 300 years, since 1698. The name No 3 refers to the address in St James’s Street, London which has seen many famous visitors pass through the doors, from Lord Byron to Aga Khan.
With juniper at its heart, No 3 Gin celebrates the integrity and character of traditional London Dry Gin: six perfectly balanced botanicals distilled in a traditional copper pot still.
Boisdale Of Canary Wharf will welcome guests with a No 3 Gin cocktail before embarking on a journey through the history of gin, navigating the grimy streets of London in the 1700s with an Old Fashioned, into the bright lights of the 1800s cocktail joints sampling a Collins, and finishing with a speakeasy’s prohibition classic Bees Knees.
