Pillow Cinema: Home Alone
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal. And a Happy New Year.
The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screenings they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. After he is accidentally left behind when his family depart for France, eight year-old Kevin McAllister must defend the family home against two rather inept burglars. In the process young Kevin discovers previously untapped stores of ingenuity. Home Alone is a small treasure that is entertaining and well-meaning…With a likable young hero, some goofy slapstick, and a real sense of family connection when all is said and done, Home Alone is a charming family comedy. Certificate PG. Runtime: 1 hour 43 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
"This film...will provide the whole family with large quantities of festive spirit."
