A Christmas must-see
The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screenings they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. This one is a real heartwarmer. It's hard not to fall in love with Hugh Grant's sassy Prime Minister, Bill Nighy's faded rockstar or Laura Linney's lovelorn office worker. Each story arch entwines until most of the cast's characters are stuffed into a school hall watching a school Nativity, complete with lobsters. You won’t find better romcom bang for your buck. Certificate 15. Runtime: 2 hours 16 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
"A roundly entertaining romantic comedy."
