The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screening s they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. For this one, get ready for the Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. This film is great in every way. Transport yourself back to the '20s America and feast your eyes on this visually dazzling extravaganza; it is easy to see why it won two Oscars for Best Achievement in Production Design and Best Achievement in Costume Design. Adapting Scott F Fitzgerald's original novel once again for the big screen, Leonardo Di Caprio plays Jay Gatsby, a super-rich party animal who possesses a certain willingness to share the good vibes. But the good vibes begin to dwindle, and what follows is a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy that holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles. Certificate: 12. Runtime: 2 hours 23 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat.
