Switch countries, switch lives and fall in love. Simple.
The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screenings they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. The Holiday was probably the movie used to inspire the idea behind Airbnb. Two women troubled with guy-problems swap homes in each other’s countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love. Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black form a quartet that's difficult not to fall in love with every time Christmas comes around. Certificate: PG. Runtime: 2 hours 18 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
"The men and women in a Nancy Meyers film don’t just fall in love; they talk about falling in love, about falling out of love, about needing, fearing and surrendering to love."
