Pillow Cinema: The Santa Clause
He's got some pretty big boots to fill...
The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screenings they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. When Tim Allen inadvertently kills Santa on Christmas Eve (probably doing some home improvement on the roof), he finds himself recruited to take his place. The success of Christmas – and the happiness of billions of children – falls into his hands. Simply great family comedy. Certificate: PG. Runtime: 1 hour 17 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
"Balances the sugar with the spice, which Allen sprinkles on just right."
