Pillow Cinema: Titanic
Don't forget the tissues
The Pillow Cinema have made it their mission to turn your movie nights into unforgettable experiences. After a glorious summer of screening s they now take their magic to the beautiful Sutton House, a stunning Tudor home run by The National Trust in the heart of Hackney. Filled with oak-panelled rooms and charming original features, it’s the perfect setting for cosying up with a movie and a loved one this winter. For this one get ready for James Cameron's emotional epic Titanic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Everyone knows the story – working class boy meets high society girl, they fall in love, he draws her, the ship sinks, he dies, she survives. But it is so much more than that. Titanic is proof that love never dies (and that movies can make you cry). "You don't just watch Titanic, you experience it." –ReelViews "A huge, thrilling three-and-a-quarter-hour experience that unerringly lures viewers into the beauty and heartbreak of its lost world." – The New York Times Certificate: 12. Runtime: 3 hours 25 minutes. Doors to Sutton House open half an hour before the event. The film will start at the advertised time, and no trailers will be shown in advance. The fatboy bean bags are huge, and seat one person spaciously or two people snuggled up. If lounging's not really your thing, you can also grab a more traditional seat. Either way, there'll be blankets and cushions available for all.
"The planet's favourite film. Ever."
