Pop Up Screens Cinema In The Snow: Bad Santa
Santa gets sinful in this festive flick
The odds for a white Christmas in London have dramatically increased thanks to Pop Up Screens. Head to Notting Hill's 20th Century Theatre and step through their magic wardrobe to discover a secret cinema surrounded by snow. Rumour has it that a bar filled with an abundance of mulled wine, hot chocolate, brownies and popcorn also lies within. Only one way to find out right? Billy Bob Thornton dons the famous red suit in this rude black comedy. Santa’s beard becomes an accessory to crime, as kids are tricked and shopping malls are robbed. But when a security boss gets on his case, and Thornton meets a particularly sweet kid, crime at Christmas starts to become a lot more confusing. Certificate: 15. Runtime: 1 hour 31 minutes. Doors open at 4pm. Film starts at 5pm. Seating is unallocated, but the screen is on a stage so it's hard to get a bad view.
"A delightfully obscene alternative to the usual Christmas tosh."
