Say it with us...nobody puts Baby in the corner!
When Frances 'Baby' Houseman goes to Kellerman's holiday resort, little does she know she'll have the time of her life (sorry, we couldn't resist). Meeting dance instructor Johnny Castle thrusts Baby into a world of hip swivelling, butt shaking, and high powered lifts in the local lake. A film about growing up and changing social trends, it's backed by a soundtrack that pays homage to its 1963 setting, and also busts a 1980s groove. General admission. Best available seats. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing since the event is outside. Do bring something to sit on, don’t bring a tent. Doors at 7pm, film starts at 8:30pm.
"Endlessly quotable, strangely fascinating, and immensely charming."
