Fresh air and classic movies: a winning combination coming to a bit of grass near you
Pop-Up Screens aim to bring brilliant films to cool locations. For this one, head to Bishop's Park in Fulham for a lot of lovely food, amazing popcorn and a fully stocked bar. If you’d prefer to bring your own picnic that’s ok, but it must be noted you will be missing out on burgers from the guy that supplies Harrods. This time around it’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The film that had fanboys and girls clutching on to their mint condition, collectible Han Solo action figures for dear life, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh instalment in the fan-favourite. JJ Abrams was the man at the helm, hoping to redeem the films from Jar Jar Binks and a stoney-faced Ewan McGregor, and boy, did he deliver. This film has (inter)stellar action sequences, new and intriguing characters and, even though it's basically the same as A New Hope, it's still great. Get comfy and enjoy one of the funnest films of the year. Certificate: 12A. Running time: 2 hours 16 minutes. Bring stuff to keep you warm/dry in the British weather and something to sit on. Please do not bring a tent. Doors open 1 hour 30 minutes before the start time. The film starts when it gets dark.
