Mamma Mia... here we go again
Pop Up Screens aim to bring brilliant films to cool locations. For this one head to Tudor Barn in Eltham for a lot of lovely food, amazing popcorn and a fully stocked bar. If you’d prefer to bring your own picnic that’s ok, but it must be noted you will be missing out on burgers from the guy that supplies Harrods. For this one, prepare for a summer adventure on a Greek island with 2004’s Mamma Mia. Bride-to-be Amanda Seyfried is Greece's dancing queen, but something's up...and it's not just Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth’s questionable singing. Which of the three potential papas will be the one to walk Seyfried down the aisle? Throw saucy mum Meryl Streep and more Abba hits than a Eurovision Song Contest into the mix, and you have a legendary film. "That cheesy Abba musical has now become an even cheesier film." – The Guardian "The closest you get to see A-List actors doing drunken karaoke." – Mark Kermode Certificate: PG. Runtime: 1 hour 46 minutes. You do need to bring something to sit on, there’s always plenty of room so you can get inventive. Please don’t bring a tent though... it’s just showing off.
"Cute, clean, camp fun."
