Lebowski: not a man, a way of life
Pop Up Screens aim to bring brilliant films to cool locations. For this one, head to Coram's Field in Russell Square for a lot of lovely food, amazing popcorn and a fully stocked bar so you can have a cold pint; but if you’d prefer to bring your own picnic that’s ok, but it must be noted you will be missing out on burgers from the guy that supplies Harrods. So get comfy and get ready for The Cohen Brothers’ cult classic, The Big Lebowski. Geoffrey "The Dude" Lebowski has his routine of bowling and dope-smoking rudely interrupted when debt collectors mistake him for the millionaire Geoffrey Lebowski. Follow Jeff Bridges as “The Dude” through a tale of double-crosses, deception and urinating on carpets Also, expect a serious amount of f-bombs. "In a perfect world all movies would be made by the Coen brothers." – Empire "The best movie ever set mostly in a bowling alley." – The Rolling Stone Certificate: 15. Valid ID required. Runtime: 1 hour 52 minutes. You do need to bring something to sit on, there’s always plenty of room so you can get inventive. Please don’t bring a tent though... it’s just showing off.
"Stone cold hilarious."
