If this is your first time (watching a film outdoors), just relax and enjoy it
The Press Play rooftop summer series wouldn't be complete without returning to Broadway House. The intimate rooftop space provides a unique setting to enjoy a classic film whilst taking in the London Skyline. BBQ food, drinks and Pops (the world’s first champagne ice lolly) will be on offer from 7pm; and, as always, you'll receive a free bag of Propercorn with every ticket. Tonight, Press Play will press play on the 2005 hit comedy, 40 Year Old Virgin, featuring the famously funny Steve Carell in his first star role, alongside Paul Rudd, Romany Malco and Seth Rogen. The film follows Andy Stitzer (Carell), a cheerfully geeky guy who is settling into middle age with his large collection of comic books, action figures, and collectable models. He works in an electronics store and seems reasonably happy with his life; that is, except for one thing. He is still a virgin. What follows is a series of raunchy (but painfully realistic) situations. "An enjoyable showcase for the superb Steve Carell." – Empire "Rude, raunchy, uproarious, yet with elements that are surprisingly sweet." – ReelViews Certificate: 15. Valid ID required. Runtime: 2 hours 7 minutes.
"Buoyantly clever and amusing."
