Pussy by Tight Theatre is an explicit, bold and darkly funny representation of what it means to be a young woman in today’s society. Exploring female sexuality, gendering and the taboo subject of masturbation through physical theatre, the play combines elements of cabaret, mime and dance to create a daring and innovative piece.
Devised by the young, all-female cast; the performers expose to the stage the private actions of women trying to live up to pop culture ideals – from lip-syncing their way through Destiny’s Child songs to identifying an abundance of vaginal imagery, the show is a comically wicked insight into what it’s really like to be a young woman living in today’s world.
