Experience an evening of otherworldly delights inspired by Joseph CornellAt this Late event, Joseph Cornell's eclectic imagination is being brought to life in worlds that capture his dreamlike, poetic assemblages.
First, experience Oslo: an immersive cosmic installation masterfully created by Loop.ph, that reproduces all 9,000 stars visible to the naked eye. Visitors can bathe beneath the stars, while listening to ambient music and live sounds from outer space. You might also want to check out the disco in a box, with a DJ playing within a repurposed old laundry truck. Other delights include puppetry, opera-singing, collage-making, a cosmic salon hosted by The Royal Astronomical Society, ballet dancing, sci-fi film screenings and cosmic glitter makeovers. An evening of interstellar entertainment.
Event runs 6:30pm-10pm. Dress code: cosmic-inspired. There will be prizes awarded on the night for the best dressed. Each ticket includes a Fever Tree cocktail and entry to the Joseph Cornell exhibition.
