Captivating dance with an experimental edge
Rambert are a powerful dance troupe, bringing a programme of loose limbs and fancy footwork. Tonight they perform a triple bill. The Castaways uses humourous theatricality to bring to life both traditional Yiddish and American 1950s pop music. Hailed for its unique choreography, this piece sits at the heart of the programme. Then The Comedy Of Change is an interpretation of Darwin’s theories set of music by Julian Anderson. There’s also Ashley Page’s new work Subterrain, where five couples ebb and flow against music. Seating allocated on arrival. Over 5s only.
"...the most musical, muscular, versatile contemporary dance troupe in Britain."
