Dinner, wine and music all in one
The 606 Club in Chelsea is an atmospheric, cosy little venue tailored for unforgettable nights steeped in music of the highest quality. Throw in a delicious two-course dinner and a free glass of house wine on top of that and suddenly the world is a better place. Tonight welcome Ray Russell – a guitarist/composer who has had a truly exceptional career. He is primarily known for his session work and you will have probably heard his music playing on David Bowie’s Space Oddity, Tina Turner’s Private Dancer and numerous other tracks with artists as diverse as Freddie Mercury, Gil Evans and Andy Williams. You will also have heard some of his vast array of award-winning soundtrack compositions, which include the theme tunes to “Bergerac” and “A Touch of Frost”. Ray’s own original music is powerful, superbly melodic guitar-led jazz fusion/crossover. Over 18s only. Your ticket price includes a two-course meal and music entry. We've managed to nab you a free glass of house wine on top of that.
“Ray Russell isn't merely a fine jazz player, but a truly original music thinker and an improvisational force to be reckoned with.”
