Take a step into British cinematic history at the Regent Street Cinema. Britain's oldest cinema, it was the first place in the country to ever show moving pictures. It kickstarted British cinema with a screening of Cinematographe in 1896. Now, you can catch a screening of Johnny Depp's new flick, Black Mass.
Set in '70s Boston, Depp takes on the role of the infamous James "Whitey" Bulger, who works alongside FBI agent John Connolly in an unholy alliance to eradicate a common enemy: the Italian mob. The drama shows how this relationship spiralled out of control, and how Bulger was able to use it to monopolise power in the area and become a name that would go down in American history.
