Regent Street Cinema Presents: The Hateful Eight

Tarantino's latest release

Regent Street Cinema is Britain's oldest picturehouse. On 21 February 1896, it became the birthplace of cinema in the UK, when the Lumière brothers used their Cinematographé machine to show the earliest of moving images to a paying audience. Having reopened in May 2015, the staff have been dedicated to engaging with the cinema's groundbreaking legacy, showcasing everything from classic films, internationally acclaimed work and even the odd blockbuster. Now, you can catch a special screening of Tarantino's latest offering, The Hateful Eight. A stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers – bounty hunter John Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) – race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as "The Hangman", will bring Domergue to justice. Samuel L Jackson and Tim Roth also star. "The Hateful Eight is devilishly good." – Globe And Mail "This is one of the best movies of the year." – Richard Roeper Certificate: 18. Running time: 2 hours 47 minutes.
