A one-woman, multi-character comedy of abandoned lettersTea House Theatre is an institution, having opened in 1886 on the site of the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. It’s a twee dream of homemade marmalade, cakes, and jam. Tonight, Vickie Holden’s solo show takes over. She explores the phenomenon of letters that are written but too honest to send. Composing a letter can be a difficult task, sometimes you forget to send them, or think what you've written is too revealing. Holden delves into these left behind missives, combining character comedy with a deeply personal side.
