This vintage standup show has matured like a funny fine wine
Who needs Edinburgh when you've got London instead? Not Richard Herring. Forgoing the traditional trip up to the land of haggis, kilts and the UK's largest fringe festival, Herring has instead decided to relearn 12 of his classic, critically-acclaimed solo standup shows. A year after it was first performed in Edinburgh, Richard will be performing his Lord Of The Dance Settee once again for us lucky folk. In a frivolous mood, this routine revolves around daftness. Herring reveals how his whole career is a failed attempt to top a slapstick joke he came up with at 16 and he discusses whether the term cool comedian is an oxymoron. Sometimes you don't need to teach an old dog new tricks. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Doors open 30 minutes before start-time. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
“I think we might be seeing Richard Herring at the very top of his game.”
