Rooftop Film Club: Ferris Buller's Day Off
Picture this: you are watching a great film. You have some great food and your favourite drink, be that a pint or a cocktail. You are on a rooftop. There are panoramic views of the city and the sun is setting. Everything is good; life is great. Sound like a dream? Well, thanks to Stratford's Roof East, it ain't no more. The film that you'll be watching in such a glorious setting is the fantastic 1986 John Hughes masterpiece, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. For those of you that aren't familiar, the film follows Ferris on his wild day bunking off. Constantly trying to stay one step ahead off his school's principal, his day has to be seen to be believed. A true classic. "Ferris Bueller is a free-spirited romp, a devil-may-care respite from grueling dailiness." – Hollywood Reporter "Great comic set pieces with a seize-the-day vibe." – Film4 Over 18s only.
