Savage exposes a love story amidst the brutal true tale of a Nazi war criminal

Copenhagen, 1940. With the Nazi occupation of Denmark, life did not change much. Zack and Nikolai enjoy their glamorous, hedonistic life and the paradise of cabaret. But their world is shattered when Doctor Carl Peter Værnet discovers what he believed to be “the cure for homosexuality”. He’s applauded by the Nazi regime and encouraged with his experiments which spread across Europe. A new play written and directed by Claudio Macor, Savage inspects the love of two people torn apart in the face of great adversity and trauma. Over 16s only. Valid ID required. This show contains nudity and graphic content throughout. The show takes place in the Above The Arts space.
