Copenhagen, 1940. With the Nazi occupation of Denmark, life did not change much. Zack and Nikolai enjoy their glamorous, hedonistic life and the paradise of cabaret. But their world is shattered when Doctor Carl Peter Værnet discovers what he believed to be “the cure for homosexuality”. He’s applauded by the Nazi regime and encouraged with his experiments which spread across Europe. A new play written and directed by Claudio Macor, Savage inspects the love of two people torn apart in the face of great adversity and trauma.
