A twist on the nostalgia of sloppy mash + Eton mess, featuring Matthew Herbert
This is a night of entertainment, Victorian schoolroom style. Latin phrases and scribbles in the margins rub shoulders with a three-course banquet at the Central Foundation Boys’ School. Although unlike school, you're welcomed with a cocktail and canapés while live bands play, before sitting down to your meal. After dinner, in the Assembly Hall, you can sit down to listen to funny people pontificate, poets perform, and authors reading from their books. A particular highlight is the rarely seen Matthew Herbert, Ivor Novello-nominated electro musician who goes under many names including Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, and Mr Vertigo.
