Based on the real story of unlikely outcomes in a disaster situationWho doesn’t love a good disaster film these days? It seems they’re everywhere. What separates this one in particular is the fact that it’s based on the real story of a Spanish family of five (though they’re editorially changed to English speakers for the film). We don’t wanna give away the punch line of the plot, so all we’ll say is that it’s a gut-wrenching account of a family caught, along with thousands of other victims, in the mayhem following one of the worst natural catastrophes to date.
‘The film is well acted, the makeup convincing, the turbulent mise en scène impeccable.’ - The Guardian.
