An epic introduction to Indian filmThe Roxy Bar & Screen is perhaps one of London's best-kept secrets. This 1975 Indian Hindi action-adventure follows a retired police chief Thakur Baldev Singh (Sanjeev Kumar) who plots to bring down the notorious bandit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan) with the help of two lesser criminals. The movie was filmed over a period of 2 and a half years; for this reason alone it deserves just 3 hours of your time, right?
