Monster hit meets its creator
Frankenstein at The National Theatre was a critical smash and the recording has since been screened in cinemas and theatres across the UK and US. Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternated the roles in what became a very clever move, especially through word-of-mouth. Here's your chance to ask Danny Boyle why he chose to do it. In tonight's screening, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Dr Frankenstein, and Johnny Lee Miller is the creature. General admission. Screened as part of Shuffle Festival, curated by Danny Boyle. Your ticket includes access to the exhibition, indoor screening, and DJs until 11pm.
"The actors complement each other perfectly rather than provide a contest and Boyle's production is a bravura triumph."
