Harley-riding hippies in search of America
Shuffle Festival is an annual event which aims to build a more integrated community presence through art, comedy, music, food and film. Taking place in Cantrell field, tonight's film screening is the 1969 drama Easy Rider. Easy Rider follows two Harley-riding hippies, Wyatt (Peter Fonda) and Billy (Dennis Hopper) on their journey from Los Angeles to New Orleans. After a terrifying drug experience, the counterculture travellers wonder if they will ever find a way to live peacefully in America.
