Shuffle Festival is an annual event which aims to build a more integrated community presence through art, comedy, music, food and film. Taking place in The Horse Chesnut Glade, tonight's film screening is Pawel Pawlikowski's 2013 drama, Ida.
Anna, a young novice nun in 60s Poland, is on the verge of taking her vows when she discovers a dark family secret dating back to the years of the Nazi occupation. What follows is a beautifully filmed meditation on identity set in Poland. After this film viewers will be treated to a selection of the Short Film finalists from the the Shuffle Film Festival competition.
