Joe Pasquale always looks on the bright side of life
If you live in London and haven’t heard of Monty Python’s Spamalot, we might as well just exile you now. Ok, we won’t be that harsh. To give a brief synopsis, the musical follows King Arthur (Joe Pasquale) and the Knights of the Round Table on an uproariously funny quest to find the renowned relic. Based on 1975 cult-classic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the theatre adaptation really does it justice, as proved by the extensively successful UK tour, and indefinite extension at the Playhouse Theatre. Best available dress circle or stalls seating.
"I’d go so far as to say that it should be prescribed to all on the NHS. It’s not just a singalong bout of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" that sends an essential fillip of happiness coursing through you – it’s every ruddy scene."
