Born & raised in the suburbs of New York City, Marqusee immigrated to Britain in 1971. He’s lived in & around North London ever since & has been an active contributor to numerous political & social causes. As a Labour Party member for nearly 20 years, including a stint as editor of the Labour Briefing, he resigned in 2000 & has since moved to anti-war, pro Palestinian, anti-cuts campaigns, among others.
