Summer Sessions: London Contemporary Orchestra
Music as you've never seen it before
In tribute to synaesthesia, the ridiculously talented London Contemporary Orchestra are converting music into a visual score using special software. This peculiar show also features re-imagined electronic music using an amplified piano, and the Norwegian Girls’ Choir describing war and peace through folk music and lullabies. Strange and beautiful. Programme highlights: - Nick Ryan: Synaesthesia (world premiere) - Edmund Finnis: Between Rain (world premiere) - Kaija Saariaho: Verblendungen Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 14s must be accompanied in seated areas. Latecomers may not be admitted."The latest ensemble to free themselves from the sit-and-stare model."
