London's best hip-hop and R&B night heads to the beautiful Santorini…London’s best '90s and '00s R&B and hip-hop night (Time Out) head to the beautiful Greek island of Santorini for four days and nights of sun, sand and Supa Dupa Fly…
After the overwhelming success of Supa Dupa Fly x Santorini 2016, they’re back for 2017, but this time with 1000 people and some huge headliners… They're planning parties on the edge of volcanos, cave parties, pool parties and VIP villa parties at some of the most breath taking venues in Europe. We advise you book tickets early to avoid disappointment, the event will sell out.
Santorini is the stunning Greek island in the Aegean sea, 120 miles from mainland Greece. Rich in history and steeped in myth, it’s famed for being the remains of a volcanic eruption 3000 years ago and today is home to cave apartments, incredible sunsets, swish restaurants, vibrant nightlife, turquoise sea and beautiful beaches. It’s also listed as one of the top five islands in the world on Trip Advisor – the dream. Foodies (like us) will love its lively tavernas and outstanding restaurants, where just-landed fish is always on the menu.
London’s best R&B night (Time Out), Supa Dupa Fly has become the necessity in many '90s and '00s hip-hop, R&B and garage lovers diaries, selling out every weekly event and becoming unquestionably the biggest event of its kind in the UK. Supa Dupa Fly have hosted shows for artists including Rita Ora, Disclosure, Jazzy Jeff, EZ, Heartless Crew and loads more. There have been recent impromptu performances from Amerie and Professor Green, with special guests including Emeli Sande and Lion Babe too. Hosting arenas at festivals including Lovebox each year, as well as lots of high profile shows at Soho and Shoreditch House have been some of the many highlights. There have been numerous recent press features from the likes of Time Out, The Guardian, The Metro and The Evening Standard.
For just £79 Early Bird or £99, your SDF Santorini pass will include full access to their parties over four days as well as coach transfers to and from Theros Wave Bar and Jojo’s Beach Bar, and The Tomato Museum. Entry only tickets for individual events (no transport) are available from £20 closer to the time subject to availability.
Flights and accommodation:
Supa Dupa Fly know you have high standards, so instead of selling packages, you can book your own flights and accommodation so it’s exactly what you want.
Santorini has one airport that takes 3-4 hours to get to from the UK. Most airlines fly directly, but it will often work out cheaper to book your flights and hotel as a package through www.expedia.co.uk. Flight and hotel packages (based on two sharing) are from £300 (available soon through expedia.com). Return flights are from £189 through easyJet. It's important you book your accommodation in the Thira (Fira) / Katerados area as this is where coach pick up and drop off is.
There are 100s of great options for every budget. Most will offer free airport collection and drop off. It’s advised that you stay in Thira (Fira) which is the capital and and only 10 minutes from the airport. It will also be where the coaches will take you to the venues and drop you back at (both a 20 minute journey).
You will need to collect you festival wristbands from their info point at Home Café. The café is located on the main road from Thira to Karterados, a 10 minute walk from the main square in Thira.
