This is the ultimate – the entire burlesque circuit coming together to socialise and have a wicked time. It's a whole weekend of burlesque, partying, seminars, hilarity, and tons of workshops to improve on those all-important skills and to learn new ones. The first evening will see a newcomer showcase, with five of the biggest names in burlesque production giving valuable feedback to those on stage, followed by a bump 'n' grind workshop from one of the finest bump 'n' grinders in the country. With Friday night dedicated to cocktails, canapés and a show of epic proportions, and Saturday almost totally open-ended, there's a lot than just burlesque to get stuck into… Workshops include: - Bump 'n' grind - Boylesque skills - Compering - Clowning - Sing and fling - Costume design - Act development - Gender exploration - Stage makeup and contouring - Stage presence Seminars include: - Gypsy Rose Lee - Gender bending - What promoters want - The future of burlesque Also included: - The UK's only burlesque museum - Pin up portraiture - Prop and costume displays - Photography booths Over 18s only.
