Abstract expressionistic work from a master of the kindFarkhad Khalilov's career has often seen him at loggerheads with the artistic establishment: insufficiently realistic for the Soviet commissars of old, he now finds himself similar out of step with contemporary conceptualism. Curated by Italian Paolo Colombo, and part of the Buta Festival, Khalilov brings his work inspired by the coastline of the Absheron peninsula, to the Saatchi Gallery in London. Make sure you catch this one.
