Choral ambrosia, featuring Bach's Motets and Strauss' Deutsche MotetteJoin one of London’s most exciting chamber choirs, The Cantus Ensemble, for a concert of choral music celebrating the German Masters, as they perform Bach's Motets, recognised as one of the greatest achievements of choral polyphony in the baroque period, as well as the magnificent Deutsche Motette by Strauss; with 16 parts, this rarely performed dazzling masterpiece is one of the most difficult in the choral repertoire and definitely not to be missed.
Rising stars Rebecca Hardwick, Emma Lewis, Peter Davoren and Alastair Ollorenshaw will be joining them on stage as soloists. And, if that wasn't enough, virtuosic cellist Thomas Wraith also performs Bach’s Suite for Cello in D Minor.
