The Dub Pistols
Dust off your best suit, these dapper boys are back in town
This band of merry rascals has been making slick genre-defying music for a long while now. They’re on their sixth album White Lines and (as expected) it’s full of wicked fast beats and tooting horn. They blend bits of dub, ska, hip-hop, electro, punk, and d 'n b. But it’s less a case of throwing enough mud at the wall and more carefully selecting the best parts of each sound and mixing and infusing. Festival favourites, they’re coming to the Jazz Club to make you dance all night long. Downstairs standing. Over 18s only, photo ID required."...still brimming with beats and basslines."
