A seven-course tasting menu in a colonial railway carriage

Check out this new pop-up, The Great Indian Peninsula Railway. You'll be seated in an intimate carriage and served by waiters in traditional dress (plus there's a free cocktail on arrival and a different meal at each of the seven stops in it for you). Oliver Templeton's menu is inspired by his own travels across the subcontinent, so grab your drool-proof screen protector...here are the dishes:

Sticky pork, mango, and tea leaf salad
Stop one: Chittagong
Sea bass and scallop broth with lemon grass and coconut
Stop two: Patna
Vegetarian thali with chapatti
Stop three: Lucknow
Grilled spiced lamb, chopped salad, yoghurt
Stop four: Delhi
Pan-fried chicken livers with cardamom and chilli
Stop five: Jullundur
Ground lamb with fresh peas, curry leaves, and tomato
Arrival at: Srinagar
Yoghurt and cherry cake with pistachios
