The many faces of storytelling, exploring the sacred + rituals
A griot is a West African historian and storyteller, the go-to guy of the oral tradition. In the same way, this production uses different mediums to construct its tale. Theatre, dance, music, and visuals are all used to portray one man's search for truth. Lead practitioners of African culture blend their expertise, including composer Tunde Jegede, choreographer Bode Lawal, and visual artist and poet Taiwo Emmanuel Jegede.
General admission, seating on arrival. Suitable for all ages.
