Up to 32 percent off tickets to this pertinent show about the Calais campWHAT IS IT?
Up to 32 percent off tickets to this bold National Theatre and Young Vic co-production about the creation and destruction of the Calais refugee camp.
When this production ran at the Young Vic last year, our Theatre critics awarded it five stars, referring to to Stephen Daldry’s production as a 'remarkably vibrant and vital retelling'. Now it's back for another run, this time at Playhouse Theatre, and you lucky lot can nab tickets for up to 32 percent less.
Mirroring the staging used at the Young Vic, 'The Jungle' is staged using in-the-round seating, aiming to recreate the intimate, hectic setting of the Calais Jungle. Either take a seat at the benches and tables of the bustling Afghan Café, or overlook the action below in the Cliffs of Dover seats, and as the play unfolds you'll witness the struggles of a community borne of necessity as they share their tales of loss, hope and fear against all odds.
Starring Alex Lawther (‘Imitation Game’, ‘Black Mirror’ and ‘The End of the F***ing World’), this tale of nationality, community and identity is a pertinent production in the twenty-first century. Don't miss an uplifting yet heart-wrenching retelling – our tickets start at just £22.50.
This is valid for one ticket to 'The Jungle' at Playhouse Theatre.
Please note Band A tickets are benches with tables in the Afghan Cafe or Cliffs of Dover depending on best available.
Band C seats might have a restricted view and can either be on benches or front row of Afghan café, or in the Cliffs of Dover (again dependant on best available).
