Support comes from Paper Aeroplanes + Alessi’s Ark
The Leisure Society showcase material from their third album Alone Aboard the Ark. Seeing as it was nominated for two Ivor Novello awards (no biggie), this should be good. Their alt-folk sound moves between wistful sombre musings to uplifting, let’s go dance in a field, vibes. Frontman Nick Hemming's something of an indie legend too, having worked closely with film composer Shane Meadows at the tender age of 17. General admission, standing. Tickets usually £16.50 plus £2.06 booking fee. Over 18s only.
