A tour de force of international arts publications
"Art washes away the dust of the everyday life from the soul". We got told that by a fella named Pablo Picasso...I'm not sure if you've heard of him or not, but he's kind of a big deal. And we're inclined to agree with him. Art provides beauty, perspective and an escape from the everyday, which is why The London Art Book Fair is an event we're so fond of. Returning to Whitechapel Gallery for its seventh consecutive year, the event attracts over 80 publishers and small presses to exhibit and sell their work over four days, alongside a programme of talks, workshops and book signings. Artists such as AA Bronson, Douglas Coupland, Tracey Emin and many more have appeared previously to provide insight on their work. All of this, and it doesn't cost you a single penny. Free cloakroom service. Accessible facilities. This event is free, but entry is guaranteed. You need to be registered to book, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
"The gallery turns into a giant melting pot for art book lovers to geek out over the newest, oldest and rarest publications."
