Who fancies a movie in the moonlight?
Luna Cinema host the UK's leading open-air screenings, riffing on a simple premise: classic films, big screens, beautiful settings. Tonight the location is Battersea Park; surely it doesn't get much better than that? When Frances 'Baby' Houseman goes to Kellerman's holiday resort, little does she know she'll have the time of her life (sorry, we couldn't resist). A film about growing up, this film backed by a soundtrack that pays homage to its 1963 setting, and also busts an '80s groove. Best available seating. There's a bar and hot food available on site, but feel free to bring a picnic. You'll probably wanna bring a blanket to sit on and something cosy to wear too. The screening will go ahead whatever the weather, so bring a waterproof jacket or a blanket. There are ponchos available to buy on site.
"Endlessly quotable, strangely fascinating and immensely charming."
