Step back in time and experience the sights, sounds and tastes of late medieval London on this immersive wine-tasting tour led by acclaimed historian and broadcaster Dr Matthew Green and brought to life by actors and minstrels hidden en route. From the blood-drenched seat of civic power at Guildhall to the ancient port of Queenhithe, we will explore the City's lost vineyards, plague pits, and hermitages, drinking plenty of goblets of wine en route in hidden city taverns. This highly innovative and critically acclaimed tours will challenge your perceptions of medieval city life, enhance your knowledge of London's history, and introduce you to other adventurers. Three goblets of delicious medieval wine are included in the price. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. The tour lasts two hours and ends at the Northbank Restaurant at the foot of the Millennium Bridge.
