Classical sounds for a 21st century audience
Most classical concerts demand rigid attention and no chatter. Not The Night Shift. This unorthodox concert is so chilled it's horizontal. Drink and chat, come and go. It's your call. The outlook may be modern but the music is time-honoured, starting with enchanting sounds from Grieg and Elgar’s Sospiri. The main event is Dvorak’s epic Serenade for Strings, an hour-long spectacular, after which you're encouraged to stick around for a DJ set till late. It's classical but not as we know it.
