Simon El Habre's searing film tells the story of Semaan, the only inhabitant of a Lebanese village. After civil war causes the community to flee the mountain village, Semaan is left to tend the crops. The One Man Village is bleak, humorous and strangely uplifting. And the BFI have a rep for delivering the best in cinematic gold - so don't miss out.
