Two destinies collide, examining the value in material possessionsPart of Etcetera Theatre’s Pay Nothing Play Anything Festival, this is a new take on a familiar story where we criticise the growing culture of placing so much value on material possessions. Directed by MaryClare O’Neill, written by Guy Jones, and music composed by Roma Yagnik, they’ve done a brilliant job depicting a woman caught up in the summer riots who unintentionally commits a crime on camera. 100 years previous, a woman becomes well known for an illicit attachment to a pair of red shoes. How will the stories collide? You’ll just have to see for yourself to find out.
General admission, face value £8.50.
